Courtesy of Atlantic Sun director of communications Eric Moyer, here are a few notes from Jacksonville's 71-68 overtime win at No. 20 Florida:
* The Jacksonville victory is the first for the Atlantic Sun against a ranked team since Nov 10, 2007, when Mercer beat O.J. Mayo and No. 18 USC, 96-81.
* The Gators had won 20 of the last 21 meetings between the schools, including nine straight. JU’s last win came on Dec. 21, 1994 (68-67).
* The Dolphins were 0-9 against ranked teams in the Cliff Warren era.
* Since March, JU owns wins at Arizona State (in the NIT), at Auburn and at Florida.
* Jacksonville is the first A-Sun team to post two wins against major-conference opponents in the same season since Mercer pulled it off in 2008-09 (won at Alabama and at Auburn).
