Kim Kardashian Nude in Silver Body Paint for W Mag (photos)

Kim Kardashian hides her voluptuous body behind a thin coat of silver paint that leaves nothing to the imagination in W magazine’s Art issue. The shoot comes on the heels of Playboy’s release of nude photos from Kim’s 2007 shoot.

Kim is now living in Manhattan, for at least as long as it takes to shoot her latest reality show, “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.”
The show is a spin-off of her popular show E! Entertainment show “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”

The photos were shot by Mark Seliger, and the story was written by Lynn Hirschberg, who notes that Kim can’t sing, or dance and has no other discernible talent.

Yet she has made a pretty living by just being herself.
Kim reportedly was none-too-pleased that the fashion magazine released the photos ahead of its publication.

They have since gone viral on the Internet and show her full breasts and ample butt.
Despite appearing on the cover of dozens of tabloid magazines, her hit reality show, fitness DVD and skin care and fragrance lines, she still struggles for credibility as a celebrity with no real defining talent — except her beauty and  weight battles.

But if that’s all she’s got, she knows how to work it.

After Playboy recently released a series of photos showing Kardashian semi-nude from a 2007 photo shoot, reports claimed she regretted posing.

“Kim was really upset that the new photos were released,” a source close to Kim reportedly told gossip Web site radaronline. ” She freaked out that they were out there, she didn’t think that they were going to be seen again.”

But other sources claim Kim was mainly concerned because she didn’t making any money from the photos. She signed her rights away when the shoot was done.

For her part, Kim has said she was misquoted.

“When I said that comment, I had said…’I'm sorry that I did Playboy then, when I was in the shape that I was in. Not the shape that I’m in now. Because I had lost 15 pounds. … So it kind of got misconstrued a little bit,” she said.

Kim Kardashian Cries Over Nude Pics In W Magazine

Apparently, the photographs that came out of Kim Kardashian’s

photoshoot with W Magazine weren’t exactly what she expected, if her

tearful reaction on ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’ was any indication.

Kim was nude but covered in body paint. She thought the people at W Magazine would add more things in to cover her up.

‘Oh my God, I’m more naked than I was in Playboy,” she said. “I’m so mad right now … [the magazine] promised I would be covered with artwork — you can see nipple!
“The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen,” the socialite said. “I feel so taken advantage of … I’ve definitely learned my lesson. I’m never taking my clothes off again, even if it’s for Vogue.”
Those pictures (you can see one here) are very revealing, but I’m surprised that Kim is so surprised. She’s not exactly new to all this stuff. Well, at least she has experience dealing with embarrassing situations.

Remember Alex Brown Foundation was created to raise awareness about the hazards of distracted driving.

From Alex Brown’s parents:
We lost our daughter, Alex Brown, in a single car accident as she drove to what seemed like just another ordinary day of her senior year in high school. Although no other vehicles were involved, Alex was not alone. The cell phone on which she had sent and receive over 10,000 text messages in the weeks preceding her accident was with her. Alex lost her life to texting while driving.

Although Alex is no longer with us, her memory lives. We hope you choose to do the same. Through Alex’s memory we hope to educate others about the dangers of texting while driving.

Tahrir (Liberation) Square, Cairo, Egypt - Top Trend on Google and Twitter

Search Amazon.com for egyptian gifts

Tahrir (Liberation) Square in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt is amongst the top trends on Google and Twitter at this hour. This is because of the rising tension in the Egyptian capital.

Here are a few of the news items for Tahrir (Liberation) Square, Cairo, Egypt:

Egypt protests: Tension rises as jets buzz Cairo square

Tension is mounting in the Egyptian capital Cairo after the military staged an apparent show of strength during a sixth day of anti-government protests.
Two air force jets and a helicopter repeatedly flew low over Tahrir (Liberation) Square, the main gathering point for demonstrators.

A column of tanks arrived there only to have its path blocked by protesters.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called for an "orderly transition" of power in Egypt.

Mrs Clinton told ABC News that Washington wanted to see change that would bring about a democratic government.

"We want to see restraint, we do not want to see violence by any security forces," she added.

Egypt's Minister of Defense joins protesters in Tahrir Square

Mohamed Tantawi, Egypt's Minister of Defense, has been seen with the protesters in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo.

Tantawi in also Commander in Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces.

Just before hand, two F16s flew low over the square, where mass protests have continued for a sixth day. Some protesters in the square believe the flights are intended to disperse them, but are saying they are not scared. They say they remain committed to staying to protest despite the dramatic noise made by the planes.

Helicopters have been circling since the morning.

According to Al Jazeera, there are about 10,000 people currently in the square, despite today's 2PM curfew.

People are being searched by the army as they enter the square, and people with cameras are not allowed in.

Egypt protesters tend to put faith in army

Experts say the goodwill between the army and the people stems largely from the fact that the military has rarely been called upon to cope with civilian unrest. That could change now.

 Reporting from Cairo —

As Yousef Ahmed, a 25-year-old protester, marched along a riverfront boulevard Saturday, a soldier atop one tank extended an arm and helped him climb aboard. They embraced and posed for a picture.

"He's my cousin," Ahmed said, laughing. He said he has 10 other relatives serving in the military. "I asked him if the army had orders to attack us. He said, 'You're family. How can we harm our family?'"

Special Valentine Wish

I'd like to hang a valentine
Upon the world's front door...
With hearts of love and peace entwined
To last forevermore.

With love to guide our daily path,
There'd be no one in need;
God's blessings would be shared by all
Of every race and creed.

Peace would come to all the world
As nations great and small,
Would put aside their selfish aims
To work for the good of all.

If I could have my wish today,
I'd wish for nothing more
Than to hang a great big valentine
Upon our world's front door.

Space Shuttle Challenger Explosion

City Still Mourning 25 Years After Challenger Explosion

Search Amazon.com for Challenger Explosion

It's been 25 years since teacher Christa McAuliffe died aboard the Challenger space shuttle, and people in her hometown of Concord, New Hampshire, still don't like to talk about it.

"It hurts every time the anniversary comes around. Especially for those that knew her," said New Hampshire Executive Council member Daniel St. Hilaire, 43. "My son is 18 and a freshman in college, and I've never sat down with him to talk about it."

A long-time resident of Concord, St. Hilaire went to Concord High School, where McAuliffe taught Social Studies and was an adviser for the Youth in Government club, which he was a member of. He remembers her as a passionate teacher, who stressed real world, hands-on experience both in school and out. "She was a different kind of teacher -- she didn't just lecture in classroom," he said. "She firmly believed that kids would learn better by experience and she lived her life that way."

McAuliffe's husband Steven, who is a federal judge in Concord, N.H. released a statement today saying, "I know Christa would say that that is the most precious lesson - ordinary people can make extraordinary contributions when they remain true to themselves and enthusiastically pursue their own dreams wherever they may lead. Our family knows that generations of students and teachers will continue to share her love of learning and love of life, and will do great things for our world."

A whole generation has grown up since McAuliffe and six other astronauts died on Jan. 28, 1986, and still her legacy lives on in this small city about an hour north of Boston. She was passionately loved by students and residents, and her death affects those who remember her. Some people still tear up at the mention of McAuliffe's name.
