The UFC Lightweight Championship is on the line tonight. Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will be squaring off inside the octagon tonight in the main event. There are several other excellent match ups scheduled to take place tonight as well. UFC 125 Resolution should be another great event.

122nd Tournament of Roses Parade 2011 Live streaming, TV Telecast, Schedule, Map Route : 122nd Tournament of Roses parade and there are several beautiful floats gracing us this year. Themed “Building Dreams, Friendships and Memories,” the annual procession will include 46 floats, 22 marching bands and 22 equestrian units from around the world.

The Tournament of Roses Parade, better known as the Rose Parade, is “America’s New Year Celebration”, a festival of flower-covered floats, marching bands, equestrians and a college football game on New Year’s Day (but moved to Monday if New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday), produced by the non-profit Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. A 55-foot-long float dedicated to the 40th president features a 26-foot-high bald eagle and 11 black-and-white photographs of Reagan, which will be decorated with onion seeds, poppy seeds and crushed sweet rice.

The front of the 9/11 float honors victims of the hijacked United 93 flight, the middle remembers the Pentagon and the rear depicts New York City.

According to the Tournament of Roses Association, the first parade was staged in 1890 by members of Pasadena’s Valley Hunt Club — former residents of the East and Midwest eager to showcase the Southland’s mild winter weather.

One of the LA TV stations, KTLA, plays the Rose Parade over & over again.  All day long.  So…you can just have it on & catch bits & pieces of it as the day progresses…and sit & watch once if you want to.

It’s Jan. 1, which can only mean one thing: New Year’s resolutions, a lot of dirty dishes from last night’s celebration, and the Rose Parade! Looking to watch the Rose Parade 2011 online with your kids?

Click on for the Rose Bowl parade live stream, so that you and your family don’t miss one over-the-top float!

Warning: The Tournament of Roses site has been overwhelmed by traffic this morning and has been knocked offline by all the people trying to watch the Rose Bowl parade 2011. Hopefully it will be back up in a few hours. The parade is slated to begin at 11 a.m. ET and 8 a.m. PT.
